Medical Volunteers

Medical Coordination Team

Part of team providing general oversight of medical services at clinics, large and small

  • Inventory
  • Set up
  • Communicating with the medical teams
  • Organization of medical flow of guests at the clinic

Part of team providing general oversight of vision services at clinics, large and small

  • Building vision partner connections

Dental Volunteers

Digital X-Ray Team

This team member provides support to the dental X-ray technicians

  • This role take about 6-12 or more hours at large clinics over two days for set up
  • Keeping cool under pressure and in a fast paced environment

Equipment Coordinator Team

This team is responsible for set-up and breakdown of Compassion Connect equipment

  • Will be needed Friday & Saturday
  • Requires some heavy lifting and moving of equipment

Dental Supply Manager

This team member gives insight throughout the year about dental supplies. 

  • Keep track of the supplies on hand and what needs to be ordered for a clinic or sent to a clinic
  • Set up dental supplies before the clinic, maintain supplies during clinic
  • Being a licenced dental professional is a plus

Dental Sterilization Coordinator

This team member is part of the total dental team

  • Must have dental sterilization experience
  • Leads a team of volunteers sterilizing the dental equipment and supplies
  • Needed friday and Saturday of the clinics
  • On-going volunteering is helpful at all scheduled clinics in region

Bridal Shop Store Associates (OR/AZ)

  • Typically 8 -12 hours available per week
  • Retail experience helpful but training is provided

Compassion Youth Mentor

  • There are a variety of ways to get involved in Compassion Youth Mentorship (CYM)

    • One on One mentor
    • Youth leader during weekly gathering
    • Activities helper during weekly gathering
    • Skills teacher – Computer skills, entrepreneur skills, crafting skills, sewing skills, art skills, finance skills. (Other options would be considered)
