Compassion In Oregon

In 2006 volunteers from several churches came together in Portland’s Rockwood neighborhood to host the very first Compassion Clinic. One of the churches involved had been sparked by a simple question after many medical missions trips to Mexico: “Why don’t we do this in our own backyard?” The insight gained through the first Clinic gave them a passion and focus to form an organization whose purpose is to help mobilize Jesus followers to get outside the four walls

of the Church and serve their neighbors together in Jesus’ name. Over a decade later, we are still committed to inviting the Church and its people into a story of unity over division and compassion over complacency. In addition to Compassion Clinics, we also offer the Church tangible ways to get involved in anti-trafficking efforts through our Adorned In Grace service model.
