Arizona Dress for Freedom
Dates: November 8, 2025
Location: TBD, AZ
Where beauty meets purpose, and every girl is reminded of her worth.
Dress for Freedom is a free, all-day celebration designed to bless and empower girls ages 12 to 18 living in vulnerable circumstances such as foster care, homelessness, or poverty. It’s a day of restoration, dignity, and joy that reminds each young woman she is deeply loved, seen, and valued by God.
From the moment she arrives, each guest is welcomed into a space of belonging. She chooses a beautiful dress, receives professional pampering, and experiences the kindness of a community that is cheering her on. Over lunch and laughter, beauty stations and music, she is surrounded by reminders of her identity and worth. A speaker with lived experience shares about trafficking prevention and self-advocacy offering both hope and tools for a brighter future.
We strive to ensure that this day is filled to the brim with beautiful moments and stories of hope.
Why It Matters
Girls who don’t feel safe, seen, or loved often look for belonging in the wrong places. Many of the teens we serve are at increased risk for exploitation simply because they haven’t been given the support they deserve. Dress for Freedom exists to change that.
With the help of amazing volunteers and community partners, we create an atmosphere where girls are reminded that they are:
- Beautiful – inside and out
- Valuable – no matter their story
- Powerful – with the ability to stand up for themselves and others
- Loved – fully, deeply, eternally by God and His people
We partner with Child Protective Services, foster homes, shelters, maternity homes, schools, and social service agencies to ensure invitations reach those who need them most.

A Volunteer’s Heart
“I was in foster care for eight years, so I know what it feels like to be devalued a lot of the time. Just putting myself in their shoes—how incredible it would feel for people to be pouring into you. We may think it’s just one day, that it’s only 5 hours, but I’m telling you from personal experience: one day, one person, five minutes can stick with you for the rest of your life.”
— Christina, Dress for Freedom volunteer
