A Day of Beauty, Encouragement, and Empowerment

Dress for Freedom is a free, joy-filled event designed to celebrate and empower teen girls ages 12-18 who may be facing vulnerabilities such as foster care, homelessness, poverty, or other challenging circumstances. This event is an opportunity to remind each young woman of her inherent worth and provide resources to help her thrive.

What to Expect:

Makeovers: Professional hair styling, nails, and makeup.

Photography: A chance to shine in front of the camera and receive a beautiful keepsake.

Dress Boutique: Choose a gorgeous formal dress to take home.

Catered Lunch: Enjoy a delicious meal in a welcoming environment.

Creative Stations: Engage in fun craft activities with supportive mentors.

Inspiring Speaker: A speaker with lived experience will equip guests with knowledge about trafficking prevention and self-advocacy.

Gift Bags & Resources: Every guest will leave with a bag full of goodies and a list of valuable community resources.

Not Just a One-Day Event

Dress for Freedom is a reflection of the ongoing mentorship and support provided through Compassion Youth Mentoring, where young women can continue to build relationships and receive guidance long after the event ends.
