Compassion Tanzania Clinic Mission Trip
Dates: July 27 – August 2, 2025
Join us on a life-changing mission to serve the people of Tanzania through medical outreach, ministry, and community impact. This is an opportunity to witness the love of Christ in action—meeting physical needs while pointing people to the eternal hope we have in Jesus.
Mission Overview
Our team will be serving in both urban and rural settings, providing medical care and support to those in need. Each day is designed to maximize our impact while also allowing space for worship, reflection, and fellowship as a team.
General Schedule:
- Saturday – Arrive in Mwanza, Tanzania
- Sunday – Morning worship with a local church; afternoon clinic in the city
- Monday & Tuesday – Full-day clinic in the city
- Wednesday – Transition to the school for outreach in rural villages
- Thursday & Friday – School-based clinics and outreach in rural areas
- Saturday – Half-day clinic; afternoon for packing and group celebration
Cost & Fundraising
The total cost per attendee is approximately $4,000, which includes:
- Fixed cost: $2,000 – Covers all in-country expenses (lodging, food, transportation, clinic setup) and is paid directly to Compassion Connect.
- Flexible cost: $2,000 – Estimated travel expenses from your location to Mwanza, Tanzania.
We believe that where God calls, He also provides. As part of our training process, we will offer fundraising coaching to help each participant raise support and trust God’s provision for this mission.
Travel & Accommodations
For the comfort and well-being of our team, we will stay in the city throughout the trip and commute to the rural school each day. In 2021, our team stayed at Isamilo Grand Hotel, using a hired bus for daily transport. We are committed to securing the best accommodations for rest and nourishment so that our team can serve effectively.
Team Meetings & Preparation
We will meet five times before departure for training, spiritual preparation, and team-building. There will also be a post-trip debrief to process and reflect on our experience. Topics will include:
- Growing spiritually and preparing our hearts for mission work
- Understanding and engaging cross-culturally
- Team-building and leadership opportunities
- Support raising and financial logistics
- Practical concerns like safety, health, and working with interpreters
