To provide the most assistance to survivors of human trafficking, our bridal shops are entirely staffed by volunteer sales associates. If you love the bridal industry and would like to help our lovely brides find the dress of their dreams while supporting a good cause, this is the volunteer role for you!
Requirements: Retail experience helpful but not required. We will train you!
Hours Per Week: Flexible; most volunteers give between 4-8 hours/week.
Raise awareness of Adorned in Grace Bridal Shops and Design Studio through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and our blog.

The mission of our Adorned In Grace Design Studio is to empower young women with love and affirmation as an upstream method of human trafficking prevention. Many of the girls who attend the Design Studio come from vulnerable backgrounds, and we provide mentors who pour into the girls' lives. Mentors plan fun activities for the girls and assist with homework when needed.
Requirements: A heart that is willing to serve young women. We currently only accept female volunteers for this position.

Volunteer writers will assist the Abolition Now Communications team by developing applicable and engaging articles for the stories portion of the website. This includes any necessary research and interviews, but can be done via phone and email in most cases. Having a passion or interest in aiding the fight against human trafficking is desired. Key attributes are creativity and attention to detail.
Requirements: The preferred field of study or experience for this volunteer position is Journalism, Writing, Marketing, Communications, or similar field.
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Hours per month: 5-10
Our Abolition Now anti-trafficking team is largely volunteer-run, and we always have room for those who are gifted administrators. This volunteer will assist with anti-trafficking projects, events, trainings, writing policies and procedures, and other HR functions.
Requirements: Field of study or experience related to Business Administration or Human Resources. Computer and office skills necessary. Requires discretion, confidentiality and attention to detail.
Hours Per Week: 3-5; varies with project.
The Hands of Hope Resource Team provides resources to sexually exploited women and children through the collaboration of local churches. Team members are needed to collect, sort, and deliver resources to those we serve. This is a fun and easy way to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who have been affected by human trafficking!

The Medical Coordination Team provides general oversight of the medical phase of Compassion Clinics. Duties may involve assisting inventory management of medical supplies, helping set up medical equipment, and communicating with clinic medical team leaders.
Requirements: Medical experience required. Previous Compassion Clinic volunteer experience preferred.
Hours Per Month: 2-3
The Vision Coordination Team assists Compassion Clinic leaders by securing vision services for their events. Duties may involve building connections with community partners and communicating with medical team leaders as well as assisting with vision screening logistics.
Requirements: Medical or vision care experience preferred, but not required. Previous Compassion Clinic volunteer experience preferred.
Hours Per Month: 2-3
Do you have experience coordinating Compassion Clinics that you would like to use to help other clinics be successful? This is the role of a Compassion Clinic liaison, an individual who is a direct link between clinic leadership and the Compassion Connect team. This individual is paired with clinic(s) by attending team meetings, ensuring that the clinic's package items are secured and coordinated, connecting dental and medical (etc.) team leaders to the appropriate Compassion Connect leaders, and provides overall encouragement and support to the Clinic Leadership Team.
Requirements: Previous Compassion Clinic leadership experience preferred.
Hours per week: 1-2 (during clinic planning months, varies per clinic). Volunteers commit from between 1-12 clinics per year, depending on clinic need and volunteer availability.

The Digital x-ray coordination team is an important part of the Compassion Clinic Dental Executive Team. A Digital x-ray Coordination team member provides general support during the clinic, including setup/breakdown of x-ray equipment and technical support.
NOTE: This team does not take x-rays, but works closely with the dental team leader and volunteer x-ray technicians.
Requirements: Computer Science/IT skills required. X-ray Technician or dental experience preferred but not required. Willingness to commit to multiple clinics per year preferred.
Hours Per Clinic: 7-8 (1-12 Saturday clinics per year)

We are building a team of relationally minded people who take turns going to all Compassion Clinics. Your main objectives are two-fold: smile a lot and connect with people while taking simple guest surveys that help us understand the relational/spiritual/physical effectiveness of Compassion Clinics.
Requirements: No experience necessary. Strong interpersonal and communication skills preferred. Willingness to commit to multiple clinics per year preferred.
Hours Per Clinic: 1-2 (1-12 clinics per year)
The Clinic Equipment Team provides support to each Compassion Clinic by assisting with setup and breakdown of clinic equipment. Responsibilities of this team may include unloading and loading of the mobile clinic equipment and supplies, setting up and breaking down medical and dental equipment, and assisting with the transportation of the air compressor or Compassion Connect trailer. Occasional projects outside of scheduled clinics related to clinic equipment may also be a part of this role.
Requirements: No experience necessary. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Willingness to commit to multiple clinics per year preferred.
Hours Per Clinic: Volunteers commit to one or more clinics (1-12 clinics per year). Each clinic includes 2-3 hours for Friday setup and 2-3 hours at the end of the clinic on Saturday.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all dental supplies. After each clinic identify the needs and process an order for new supplies. Some knowledge of dental supplies necessary. Estimated 2-3 hours/week during clinic season.
Volunteer will identify potential dental professional volunteers within communities served by Compassion Clinics and follow steps to recruit these professionals to serve with Compassion Connect. Volunteer will post information about volunteering at dental offices (if allowed by the office) in these communities and send emails/make phone calls/meet in person with potential volunteers and encourage them to participate in Compassion clinics.

Are you a photographer who would like to use your skills to help others? We are searching for photographers who have the gift of capturing moments that tell a beautiful story of what is happening through our mission. When the story is well told (and photos are an essential part of that story!), more interest is generated, more people come to the cause, and more are served. Hours per week: Approximately 1-2 per event, about 10 events per year.
Are you a crafty person who likes to plan parties and love on people? We are looking for a volunteer team that will help our organization thrive in volunteer appreciation. This could involve writing cards, brainstorming creative thank-you's, and organizing appreciation events throughout the year.
Requirements: Creative and loves people!
Hours per month: 5-10
Design miscellaneous projects, such as web logos, header images, post cards, etc. Looking for people who want to build their portfolio but also have good experience.
Requirements: Graphic Design experience, skill with Adobe design products

It may not be as glamorous a role as leading a Compassion Clinic or mentoring a survivor, but we love and need people with administrative talents who work behind the scenes just as much as we do our other volunteer roles! There are essential tasts that make our organization run and we are looking for people who enjoy working as a team to accomplish these goals. Examples could include entering data, stuffing envelopes, filing & organizing, etc.
Requirements: For data entry projects, basic technological savvy is preferred.
