- All internships are approximately 10-15 hours per week. We request that interns be able to work on-site at our SE Portland office for many of those hours

Creative Assistant Internship
You have creative marketing/communications skills that you want to put to good use. You're not interested in just peddling a product, but in making a real difference in your community, in the Church, in individual lives. You want to portray a clear message that has real-world consequences--getting people engaged in a good cause, involved in service, and living more in unity. Our Creative Assistant Internship is geared toward an individual with a variety of creative business talents such as communications, graphic design, and marketing/media who would like to utilize these gifts in a faith based non-profit setting. You will be encouraged and challenged to refine your craft and your messaging skills to their most effective, most powerful form as you help us tell the story of Compassion Connect to the world.
Videography & Photography Internship
Attention camera whizzes with a social conscience! Are you looking to bolster your portfolio and gain experience in a non-profit setting? Are you looking to create not just functional art, but art that matters and makes a real-world difference in communities and in individual lives? We are looking for a creative and innovative intern who is skilled in the areas of photography and videography to join our team. You will be challenged to grow as a leader, as a person, and in your craft as you embark on the journey of painting a clear, compelling picture of what is happening through Compassion Connect's Uniting to Serve movement.
Compassion Clinic Health Internship
Compassion Connect's Compassion Clinic model provides churches the tools to collaboratively host free health clinics in their communities. Currently there are clinics in over a dozen communities, but leaders from each clinic don't typically have contact with one another. We believe that connecting clinci volunteer leaders to one another will vastly help them improve clinic quality. This intern will be tasked with the goal of creating an interactive online forum that Compassion Clinic leaders will use to communicate with one another. The forum will be used to share best practices, answer questions, post documents, share contact information, and more. Intern should demonstrate technological expertise and should be able to lead this project from conception to completion. Intern must be flexible, a self-starter, and excited to help be part of the process of providing better healthcare to those who need it most!
Design Studio Assistant Internship
One of our most innovative models for preventing human trafficking is the Adorned In Grace Design Studio. This after school program for girls (many from vulnerable backgrounds) provides a setting in which adult mentors express compassion and caring for the young women through the medium of crafts, snacks, games, and homework help. If you want to empower pre-teen and teenage girls during a vulnerable time in their lives and grow your administrative, leadership, and creative skills, we would love for you to join us for an exciting Design Studio internship. If you are passionate about makign a dent in the trend of sex trafficking in our area, this internship is a tangible way to make that dream a reality.
Bridal Shop Assistant Manager Internship
Compassion Connect's Adorned In Grace Bridal Shop creates funding that assists survivors of human trafficking and also generates widespread awareness of trafficking in our area. Are you passionate about taking down trafficking and also have retail/business management skills? The bridal shop is looking for an intern who will assist with the management of our two bridal shops (Raleigh Hills and Gresham). This would be significant real-world exposure for a business student who would like to gain hands on experience in the management field and is passionate about business in a social justice/social entrepreneurship setting.
